"I grew up in Glasgow, Montana! Living there for 19 years, I fell in love with anything to do outside. My personal favorites are hiking and fishing, but really anything on the water is a perfect day to me. I moved to Fargo, North Dakota, when I was 19 to go to cosmetology school, and that’s where I started my career in hair! I have five years of experience in the hair industry, and every day I find something new to love about it. My fiancé and I just recently moved back into the state, and we couldn’t be happier to be in Missoula! I love meeting new people and making new connections; that’s a huge reason I love my job so much."

How do you stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry?
"I love catching education whenever I can! Beauty trends change all the time, so any class, TikTok, or YouTube video I come across, I tune in!
What’s one beauty trend or technique you’re excited to explore more deeply this year?
"I’m super excited to dive into some more 'lived-in' color services and shaggy textured haircuts this year!"
Outside of work, what are your hobbies or passions that bring you joy?
"I love music and everything about it. Playing and singing are some of my favorite pastimes, as well as catching a concert or two. I also love getting outside to hike or float the river. I’m super passionate about wildlife and conservation, so it’s important to me to enjoy what we have here!"
I have five years in the hair industry, three of which I was also able to be an educator through my salon. I have my Master's Cosmetology License in the state of North Dakota. I was fortunate to be mentored by the resident barber at my previous salon, and I have an extensive background in hair cutting. Very textured, layered, and “alternative” haircuts are extremely fun for me! I also do many different color and lighting services. I have been fortunate to do hair for many of the local news anchors in Fargo, and my work was featured in several local magazine articles.
I offer women’s and men’s cutting services, bang trims, blowouts, and flat iron/curling styles. For chemicals, I offer all-over color, Balayage, Double process color, Toners, Highlights/lowlights, Money piece/faceframing highlights, root retouch, and root retouch and highlights.
