What’s your favorite part about working with clients in the salon?
I love creating easy, casual looks that can be polished up when needed. Hair needs to fit our lives, we don’t need to change for our hair.
What’s your go-to beauty or self-care routine when you’re not at the salon?
I am a curly girl and I follow the LOCS method when going curly. Leave in, oils, cream styler, and serums.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone looking to elevate their beauty routine?
Always stay within your realistic styling zone. Not gonna use hot tools, ok, but no slick straight styles for wavy ladies. Want volume but won’t blow dry, let’s look at heatless rollers. Want easy, short or very long may be best, but not in between.
Outside of the salon, what are your hobbies or passions that bring you joy?
I am a huge nerd/geek. I love learning and can’t get enough of natural sciences.
Also Tolkien is my favorite author, and the movies make my heart sing.
With more than twenty years in the industry, Erin has traveled the US performing her craft. Between living in several states, and traveling for education and clients, she has been to nearly 47 states. The looks and techniques amassed have created a well-rounded but precise approach to cutting, texture, and color services. Her approach to natural textures is refreshing, allowing the hair to dictate the result rather than molding it to an unnatural state. Her passion for formal styling has allowed her to travel to beautiful places to help make her clients feel their absolute best on momentous occasions. Erin is now settled in Missoula, raising her own children where she grew up, and cultivating a clientele that wants to do the same.
